Fitness Pillar Score: “Be Healthy” Is Now Available

Higher Endeavors

We’ve released the first phase of the Fitness Pillar Score, completing the initial implementation of all four Pillar Scores.

The purpose of the Pillar Scores is to help you identify the factors that may be limiting your progress the most. For example, optimizing your Fitness programming while sleeping only five hours a night will likely produce marginal results compared with consistently getting at least seven hours of sleep. By looking across all four Pillars, the Platform can help you focus your time and effort where they are most likely to move you closer to your goals.

Building Your Fitness Foundation

The Be Healthy phase focuses on establishing a foundation of consistent movement and balanced training. Its scoring criteria include:

  • Averaging at least 5,000 Steps per day
  • Completing at least 150 Active Minutes per week
  • Spreading those Active Minutes across at least five days
  • Scheduling at least two Resistance and two CME sessions each week
  • Consistently completing those scheduled training sessions

To earn maximum points for Active Minutes, aim for at least 30 minutes of activity on five days each week. Your Resistance and CME training sessions count toward the weekly total of 150 Active Minutes.

At this phase, the objective is consistency, not a complex or highly structured training program. More advanced requirements will be introduced as your fitness improves and you progress into the Be Fit and Be HighEnd phases of the Ideal Self Continuum.

Turning a Plan Into a Practice

As with the other Pillars, creating structure within your week is an important part of the Be Healthy phase. Regardless of your specific goal, scheduling at least two Resistance and two CME sessions each week should be considered the minimum standard for maintaining a balanced approach to training.

The Fitness Pillar Score evaluates more than whether those sessions appear on your Calendar. It also considers whether you consistently complete them. The goal is to turn a well-intended plan into a practice you can maintain.

The Fitness Dashboard now includes a Fitness Foundation component that compares your current week’s activity with the scoring criteria. It gives you a clear view of what you have completed and where to focus next.

Over time, we will continue to expand and refine the Pillar Scores. Future updates will introduce criteria for the Be Fit and Be HighEnd phases of Nutrition and Fitness, while scoring weights will be adjusted as more member data becomes available.
